God thinks more of us than we think of ourselves.
We can see our past and how dark it is. We can see the way we are now, and it's pretty bleak. And from where we are the future looks a bit dreary too. But God has hope for us. He has so much hope for us that He became one of us so that we could have hope too.
God must think an awful lot of us!
Heaven met earth in a manger. Kneel in awe in the stable. God, made weak and little, sleeps in the hay. From here to the cross is just a tiny fraction of the love of God for His creation. Now we have hope of heaven.
May your Christmas be blessed with much love and hope for the coming year.
Merry Christmas!
