I had half of my next musical review written and then the power went out and the computer shut down. I'm sad. We are getting our house remodeled, or repaired.. restored.... In any case, we got new light fixtures today, among other things. The electricians were messing around and accidentally turned off the power for the computer-room rather than the living-room.
They also dug to the center of the earth in my back yard. Our water pipes were going to fall apart cause they are so old.
They dug a trench about ten feet deep across our back yard. There were mountains of dirt up to the top of our neighbors fence. It's very exciting but I'm kind of sad that we don't get any grass for the next few months. It's hard to capture the ruin in photos but this is sort of what my yard looks like today. And just think, the April rains will come and then it will be a great mud flat. (Our yard has never been flat before, they said they were going to level some of it for us.) So, that's pretty cool. This remodeling thing is getting to be really fun.
